Tabula Rasa

"Tabula Rasa" which we have loved for a long time is a Ukrainian musical group that was created in 1989. The first concert of the group took place a year later at the Yolki-Palki-90 festival, after which the Polish concert “Wild Fields” took place, and in Dneprodzerzhinsk the musicians generally opened the Bee-90 concert.

At that time, the project was produced by Oleg Stupka. Working together with him, they recorded and presented their first music collection "8 Runes".

Despite the fact that at that time completely different groups were very popular due to their national motives in the compositions, the group also managed to break through, in Western Ukraine they were enthusiastically received.

In the summer of 1991, the project performed at the Vivih concert, which brought real success to the guys. A little later in the same year in Zaporozhye the band took the honorable second place at "Chervona Ruta" in the musical rock genre.

Two years later, in the fall, the guys released another collection "Journey to Palenque". This performance was broadcast on the first television channel.

In 1994 at the Komora recording studio the guys are working on the recording of the "Side by Sun" collection.

In parallel with the recording of the collection, the collective decides to replace the participants. Sergei Grimalsky begins to develop himself as a composer, due to constant omissions on work, Igor Davidyants also leaves the group. After some time, Alexander Ivanov also leaves the team.

After 2 years, two members of the musical gang are added, namely Alexander Kiktev - plays the bass, and Sergey Mishchenko - is responsible for the keys.

The band is being produced by Vitaly Klimov, who decides to be with the guys everywhere after they went to the Estonian event “Rock Summer”.

In 1997, listeners have the opportunity to enjoy the collection "Tale of May", soon the team goes on tour throughout Ukraine.

In 1998, in the summertime, the recording of the musical collection "Betelgeuse", which was named after the star in the constellation Orion, began. This popular album was recorded together with the Brothers Karamazov and Ponomarev, it included 11 compositions.

In 2003, in the fall, a video for the track "April" was presented, which was a wake-up call that the team was returning to the big stage again.

In the spring of 2005, the fans of the group saw the video for the single "Vostok", which topped the collection "Flower Calendars".

It was recorded for about three months and was presented in one of the clubs in Kiev on April 25th.

In 2007, on September 29, Ekaterina Tsarik, together with the project, shoots a video for the single "22" in the capital of Ukraine.

This video clip became the composition of the music album of the best tracks of the Tabula Ras group in the project "Tabula Rasa" - "Music of the peoples of birds", which was published in 2007.

In March 2017, they presented their 9th collection "July". The group continues to develop and delight their fans with amazing creativity. All the compositions of the Tabula Rasa musical group can be listened to online on youtube.
